If Only...

The National Science & Engineering Competition inspires us all to dream of what could be. From the everyday to the truly spectacular ideas, moments of inspiration and the improvements we can make with them can transform our world the better. Just think, at one time the internet, space travel and renewable energy only existed as ideas, and then someone thought "if only I could make it happen".

Here's what a couple of celebrities have come up with:

Ben Miller, Comedian (Armstrong & Miller) and Physics PhD:
‘If Only you could have an intelligence dial in the middle of your forehead so you could control how brainy you wanted to be at a given time. You could turn it up for challenging intellectual situations or down for when you want to watch rubbish telly.’

Ben Fogle, TV Presenter and Adventurer
‘If Only there was a magic cyber-running gizmo that would have got me in shape for the Great North Run from the comfort of my own armchair.’

Well, now it's your turn! You can submit your ‘If Only…’ discovery or invention and take a look of those of celebrities and VIPs at www.thebigbangfair.co.uk/ifonly.
