CREST redevelopment - it's now even more flexible

We’ve redeveloped the CREST Awards to make them even more flexible. The changes come after a period of consultation with teachers and students.

CREST now recognises a wide range of project work in STEM – including research, science communication and practical investigations/ design and make projects. We also encourage cross-STEM subject projects. Research projects created during STEM work experience might also be suitable for CREST accreditation.

The aim is to increase the creativity and real-world relevance of CREST. So, projects which incorporate video, social media or online surveys might all be on the menu.

Contact your Local Coordinator if you’ve got an idea for a new project and want to know if it’s suitable for CREST accreditation. Visit www.britishscienceassociation.org/crestcontacts to find their contact details.
