STEM Clubs Network - New Website

Do not try this unsupervised!

Following the launch of the STEM Clubs Network in July, the new STEM Clubs website went live in September at www.stemclubs.net.

Every school and college in the UK can join the network by affiliating their new or existing STEM club – it's free and there are many benefits to membership:

• Each school in the network gets a home page on the website. Here, you can showcase your STEM club's activities, upload photos, videos and other project resources, and look at what other clubs have been up to.

• You’ll have access to important contact details (such as other STEM clubs in the area and your local STEMNET contacts).

• You’ll have the services of a dedicated STEM clubs co-ordinator, an events calendar, supplier and services database – and a fully searchable project database where you can hunt for inspiration.

• You’ll be able to search and run with  project ideas added by other clubs in the national STEM Club network

The STEM Clubs Network is managed by STEMNET and supported by DCSF. It has grown out of the successful After-School Science and Engineering Clubs (ASSECs) project – much of the information on the new site comes directly from the experiences of people involved with ASSECs.

Pop along to www.stemclubs.net to find out more about what the website and the STEM Clubs Network can do for clubs.
